The European Parliament commemorates the victims of the Holocaust together with Religious Representa
On Wednesday, January 30 2019, the European Parliament held a formal sitting on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
It is the first time when the International Holocaust Remembrance Day is officially commemorated during a plenary session of the European Parliament. The ceremony was opened by President Antonio Tajani and included a minute of silence for the victims.
Numerous personalities were present, including Jean-Claude Juncker, European Comission President, Charles Michel, Belgian Prime Minister, and others.
