The European Parliament confirms the new European Commission

On Wednesday, November 27, 2019, the European Parliament voted in favor of the new European Commission, led by Ursula von der Leyen. The members of the executive branch of the European Union will take office on December 1.

The Permanent Office of the Romanian Orthodox Church to the European Institutions congratulates the new commissioners, wishes them a fruitful mandate and expresses the hope that they will promote the human person and her needs consistently and ardently.
