Clergy from the Archdiocese of Arad visited the European Parliament and the Representation of the Romanian Patriarchate in Brussels

A group of priests from the Archdiocese of Arad visited the headquarters of the European Parliament and the Representation of the Romanian Patriarchate in Brussels.

The delegation included representatives of the Diocesan Chancellery, professors of the "Ilarion V. Felea" Faculty of Orthodox Theology, deacons and priests from the parishes in Arad.

On Wednesday, 3 April 2024, the delegation visited the Representation of the Romanian Patriarchate to the European Institutions. Its director, Rev. Fr. Sorin Șelaru, briefed the guests on the current work of the Representation Office, as well as on the pastoral, social and cultural projects that are run at the „St. Nicholas” Church, in Brussels.

The program of the delegation continued on the following day with a visit to the European Parliament. The priests from Arad were able to learn more about the history and current activity of European institutions, as well as about future projects and about the activity of Romanian representatives in these bodies.
