On Tuesday, March 20th, the 8th WEEK FOR LIFE in the European Parliament was marked by a conference on RESPONSIBILITY in the TIME OF ROBOTS organized by the European People’s Party Group in the EP and the One of US Federation. The event was hosted by MEP Miroslav Mikolášik, chairman of the EPP working group on Bioethics and Human Dignity and gathered stakeholders from different groups to discuss on the topic at stake. CEC delegation visit to the Romanian Patriarchate

On Thursday, May 15, 2018, His Beatitude Patriarch Daniel received in audience the President of the Conference of European Churches, Bishop Christopher Hill, the CEC Vice-president, His Eminence Metropolitan Emmanuel of France, and the CEC General Secretary, Rev. Heikki Huttunen. The meeting was also attended by Rev. Fr. Sorin Selaru, Director of the Representation of the Romanian Orthodox Church to the European Institutions. Brussels: Seminar on the European Christian Cultural Heritage

On Tuesday, 6 March 2018, the European Parliament in Brussels hosted a seminar on the importance for Europe to protect its Christian Cultural Heritage. The event was co-organized by the Committee of Representatives of the Orthodox Churches to the European Union (CROCEU) and the EPP Working Group on Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue. It brought together MEPs and other EU officials, academics, diplomats and representatives of religious organizations in Brussels, as well as an important number of persons who have been working extensively on the protection and promotion of Christian cultural heritage throughout Europe.
